It’s back, the Dog Park’s most popular event, the 2010 Dog Splash in Depew Park!

It’s the one day of the year when our pups are allowed to swim and play in the lake at Depew Park. The play/swim area is securely fenced in, and Peekskill’s great animal control officer will be present to monitor the dogs and owners. And don’t worry if you have a small dog: there will be kiddie pools set up for private splashing!

Before you leave the Splash, stop by the complimentary Dog Wash station, where a team of our dedicated volunteers will wash and shampoo your dog to perfection. Please join us and help support the Peekskill Dog Park!

Click on the image to the left. It’s a Google Earth view of Tompkins Park, with the area of the Dog Park outlined. The Dog Park is on the lower level of the park — if you’re up at the ballfields, you’re in the wrong place. The lower level is a few hundred feet west of the ballfield entrance. Easiest way to find the Dog Park: it’s off of Main Street (Route 6), just after you pass Beverage World on your right, and before you hit CVS at the Beach Shopping Center.
